Anava Hospital OPD was inaugurated at Settsü village, Mokokchung in the presence of Temjenmenba, Advisor, Transport and Technical Education on August 1.
During the inauguration programme, testimony and vision of the hospital was shared by Metongmeren Ao, Chairman, Anava Welfare Society and Dr Nadia Jamir.
Dr Nadia Jamir guided the gathering through the journey of establishing the hospital. Dr Nadia mentioned that the foundation for the hospital was laid in 2018. She also explained the meaning of the word Anava which is a Hebrew word which means “humility and gentleness.” Dr Nadia thanked everyone who contributed towards the building of the hospital and said that the hospital will work with patience, love and care for all sick people.
Advisor Temjenmenba in his speech said that the establishment of Anava Hospital was the best way of giving back to the society by doing noble deeds for people of the districts and also the people of neighbouring districts.
Temjenmenba congratulated Dr Sungdi and family for the noble venture. He said that the people of Mokokchung district should be happy to avail health care in its best form. He also added that the Government is ready to help in whichever way possible towards the hospital.
Short speeches were also delivered by Chairman, Settsü village and President, Changki Union Mokokchung. Rev Ponen Longchar, Pastor, MTBA pronounced the dedicatory prayer after which the hospital was inaugurated by Metongmeren Ao.
