The Canaan Christian Higher Secondary School (CCHSS), Mokokchung celebrated its silver jubilee on the theme, ‘Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,’ at the school premises at Artang ward, Mokokchung on October 21.
At the jubilee celebration, Rev Dr Bendang Lkr, Pastor, Artang Baptist Church who was the theme speaker spoke on the theme basing on the bible verse Hebrews 12: 2. The welcome address was given by D.L. Singh, Principal, CCHSS. Short speeches were also given by John, Proprietor, CCHSS, Ati Mongro, Acting Chairman, Artang Yimden and Limatongzuk Jamir, President, Ongpangkong Students’ Conference.
Jubilee Paean ‘Look unto Him’ was presented by the students of CCHSS while the vote of thanks was presented by Akumla, Jubilee Convenor. The formal jubilee celebration was followed by jubilee feast and entertainment session and it was attended by alumni, former faculties, students and parents.
