A moment during the dedication of Citizen’s Welfare Pharmacy at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung on November 1.
MOKOKCHUNG, NOVEMBER 1 (MExN): The dedication of Citizen’s Welfare Pharmacy was held at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital Mokokchung on November 1. Dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Wapang Longchar, Chaplain, IMDH, in the presence of Dr S Marina Yaden, Medical Superintendent of IMDH, Senior Medical Officers, Medical Officers, Tutors and Nurses.
In her address, Dr Marina Yaden termed it as a significant day for IMDH since it was a dream come true. She mentioned that the pharmacy was made functional due to the contributions of IMDH staff and also the tireless and selfless efforts of Dr Mar Walling, Orthopedic Senior Specialist, IMDH and Lulenmayang Pharmacist.
Dr Marina said that the pharmacy is for the patients at hospital to make medicines easily accessible. The Pharmacy will be kept open 24x7. Medicines will be available at 5% discount and the income generated from the pharmacy will go to the development fund of IMDH.
She also called upon the staff to work honestly and sincerely for the welfare of the community.
It is to be noted that Citizen’s Welfare Pharmacy is an initiative of Department of Health & Family Welfare.
