Mokokchung, February 12 (MExN): Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) Yimyu celebrated its 13th Foundation Day at the College Auditorium on February 12 with Thsuvisie Phoji, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung.
Addressing the gathering, Phoji commended the Principal, Faculty, and Staff for their dedicated efforts and shared vision for the college's future, stated a DIPR report. Reflecting on the institution's journey since its inception, he encouraged the students to embrace lifelong learning and perseverance towards their goals. Recognizing the pivotal role of teachers in shaping society, he urged students to inspire and guide future generations towards responsibility and purpose.
Dr T Alemla Longkumer, Principal, MCTE, elaborated on the college's history, its diverse activities, and outlined its vision, mission, and motto. The event was chaired by Imlikumla, Asst. Prof, MCTE, while Bendangnaro represented the inaugural batch of MCTE. A skit titled 'Life of B.Ed Student Teachers' was presented by 4th-semester student teachers, and Dr. Temsurenla, Vice Principal, invoked blessings.
