In its endeavour to promote sports, 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) extended support to the Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) during its 5th Annual Sports week which was held from March 7 to 9. Col KS Kataria, Commandant 44 AR who was the Guest of Honour at the closing ceremony encouraged the students to join Armed Forces on the basis of their sporting talent and avail better opportunities
