Mokokchung, June 11 (MExN): A District Task Force Committee meeting was held on June 11 in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung under the Chairmanship of SDO (C) Mekala Chaitanya Prasad, IAS.
The meeting discussed on the matters relating to Intensified Mission Indra Dhanush and Intensified Diarrhea Control Fortnight Programme in the District, mentioned a DIPR report.
District Programme Officer (UIP/RCH) Mokokchung, Dr. Yanger gave the introductory highlights of the programme. The programme will be conducted from June 12 to 24 in the District. He also stated that in the current year IDCF for children 0-5 years target is 9629 children and will be covered by the programme. Along with this another programme will be carried out simultaneously under Intensified Mission Indra Dhanush (IMI) which is an annual programme of vaccination of pregnant women and babies, 0-2 years and the target is set to cover 90% coverage by the end of this year.
The Chairman also called upon all the Task Force member departments to contribute towards the success of the programme and suggested the House to have another meeting just after the fortnight programme is over to get feedback on the programme executed
