Mokokchung, August 4 (MExN): A special Mokokchung DPDB meeting was held in the Deputy Commissioner's conference hall held on August 3.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Imkong L Imchen, MLA & Chairman, DPDB Mokokchung was attended by Speaker NLA, Shariangin Longkumer, Ministers, Tongpang Ozukum and Metsubo, stated a DIPR report.
The meeting deliberated on the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) scheme. On the Annual plan 2022 to 2023 and the five-year prospective plan, the house decided to write to the concerned Ministry and submit the project as per the project guidelines for the whole district before the deadline i.e. August 6. This will also request for extension of time for the formulation of the scheme.
On the home department directions regarding the Har GharTiranga programme, the House agreed to follow all the instructions given by the housing department, i.e. hoisting of National Flag in all the Office buildings and Private residences, institutions, business houses, and all the public residences from August 13 to 15.
The house discussed the matters about the upcoming 76th Independence Day celebration and work distributions among departments were done. On the participation of the Mokokchung district in the upcoming Nagaland Mini Olympics was also discussed by the house and agreed to participate.
In the meeting after thorough deliberation, the house recommended the upgradation of Lenjem Hospital. Judo Association Society Mokokchung was recommended for its registration.
