Mokokchung, June 17 (MExN): Two-day training on Drugs and Vaccine Distribution Management System (DVDMS) and Equipment Maintenance and Management System (EMMS) for Pharmacists, LDAs, Nurses and Block Extension Educators (BEE) was held at the Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Officers office, Mokokchung on June 15 and 16.
Er R Robert Suohu, Data Analyst (NHP) and Er Imtisunep Aier Data Analyst (NHP) from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima were the resource persons, stated a press release issued by the District Programme Management Unit, NRHM, Mokokchung.
The participants were trained on DVDMS and EMMS which are software platforms with details of drugs and vaccine supply chain management system that deal in purchase, supply and management of various drugs and equipments distribution. It aimed to provide seamless, accessible and live reporting of drugs, vaccine and other required items at the health centers by the employees/personnel.
Dr R Chubala Aier, CMO, Mokokchung also encouraged the participants to learn from the training and deliver quality service at their respective Health centers.
