Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung as part of the college club activity visited Arju centre, Longjang village, Mokokchung on July 29. The Health and Wellness Club and the Culinary Club, JMC were part of the visit.
During their visit, an introduction to the activity was given by Imtimatsung, Asst Prof, Department of Political Science, JMC while short speech was delivered on behalf of Arju Center Longjang by Imkongsowa, Incharge, Arju Center. A talk on Health and Environment was delivered by Dr Kilangnaro, Asst. Prof, Dept of Environmental Science, JMC while a folk tale recitation was presented by Moamongla.
During the teaching and learning session, the students of Arju centre taught basket making to the students of JMC while the Culinary Club JMC taught the art of Food Crafting and the Health and Wellness Club taught Loofah making.
The students of the Arju centre and JMC also engaged in recreational activities after the end of the teaching and learning session. Vote of thanks was delivered by Nukshibenla on behalf of JMC.
