Mokokchung, December 3 (MExN): Presentation of special songs, Dance and Musical Display by children with disabilities were some the highlights of the programme held at CURE Foundation Centre, Mokokchung on December 3 to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) under the theme ‘Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Ensuring Inclusiveness and Equality’ organized by CURE Foundation, Mokokchung.
Delivering a short speech and prayer for PWD during the programme, Monglir, YE, MTBA maintain that it is not for us to question why, but it is for us to overcome it through love and support. Pointing out that Disabilities do not mean only about physical and mental attribute, it also include the weaknesses in characters and habits in every individual, therefore urged people not to judge those PWD but to take them as equal with love and humility.
Founder & Proprietor, CURE Foundation, Akangnungba while proposing vote of thanks, acknowledged the parents with PWD for their relentless support to the Foundation.
