Mokokchung, September 8 (MExN): The Mokokchung Police arrested a person in connection to an official document forging case.
Lipoktemsu , a resident of Chuchuyimlang Town who allegedly made the forged official document was arrested from Tuli town.
According to a press release from the Superintendent of Police Mokokchung, an FIR was filed on September 4 by the SDO (Civil) Changtongya, stating that he had received on WhatsApp a copy of a forged official document with signature appended by him, which was in circulation in social media.
The forged document (a permit) permitted one Ziaur Rahman, a resident of Assam to transport coal by train rack from Tuli railway station after COVID-19 lockdown period in Nagaland is lifted, the release informed.
In this connection, a case was registered at PS CTN and the arrest was made during the course of investigation.
Further investigation is under progress, the release added.
