Mokokchung, April 20 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS called a meeting on April 20 at ADC (Planning) Conference Hall, Mokokchung to discuss matters related to Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) which will be held on April 26.
The meeting was attended by all Head of Offices, concern officials, ward authorities and representatives from the NGOs.
DC said that the importance of the meeting is to let everyone know the chain of command, where he falls in the line. He said authorities must be aware and should know what their role and responsibilities are. He also said that the Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) is not only restricted to the Government officials but also to the general public.
On April 26 the Mock Exercise will be conducted in the town from 10:00 AM, where few locations such as Hospitals, Schools, Shopping Complexes and Office buildings will be selected as damaged/affected areas by earthquake.
In the meeting, power point presentation on Incident Response System (IRS) was given by Tumben P. Tsanglao EAC and Pichano Kikon EAC.
