Mokokchung, December 3 (MExN): The 2nd Quarter District review meeting of Mokokchung District was held on December 3 at IDSP Hall, IMDH, Mokokchung. Dr P Medemayang, MS and CMO, Mokokchung chaired the programme and welcomed the participants. A press release from Chief Medical Office Mokokchung stated that the meeting was held quarterly to discuss the problems and issues in the health sector. Dr Sholongba, GDMO Mokokchung gave a power point presentation on the activities and achievements of Urban primary health centre and mentioned about the outreach health camp under UPHC where services provided are free consultation, free medicine, etc. Jimenyangla SHP, Co- ordinator from District immunization office, Mokokchung also gave power point presentation a MRVC planning unit wise coverage, where Mokokchung district coverage on MRVC was 97.76%. Dr Kibangkumba, Deputy CMO Mokokchung requested the SMOs and MOs to submit the report in time and also monthly report of HMIS and RCH. The ASHA co-ordinater were also informed to maintain the salt testing report properly and all the MOs were asked to display Beti Bachao Beti Padhao banner in their respective health units. The meeting was attended by SMOs, MOs, NHM staffs and DAPCU staffs.
