Straightway Higher Secondary School (SHSS), Mokokchung two-day spiritual retreat based on the theme ‘Rooted and Established in Love’ Ephesians 3:17 commenced in the school campus on June 16.
The resource persons of the camp are Chubawapang, Youth Mentor, MTBA, Limasangla, Staff Worker, UESI, Arenchila, CED, Khensa, Yatetla, CED, Mokokchung Compound and Ayala, CED, Artang. Alem Imchen, Home Evangelist, SCMC was the counselor at the retreat.
More than 400 campers are enthusiastically participating in the camp which is hosted by the school every year. The Camp Director is Sungkumlemba, Missionary, SCMC.
The camp started with a short programme chaired by Tianaro, Vice Principal, SHSS followed by an introductory session which was taken over Sentiyangla, Principal, SHSS and closing prayer by Sungkumlemba, Missionary, SCMC. The praise and worship team was divided into five groups led by students, after which each resource person articulated the theme in all the sessions along with activities.
