All shops and business establishments in Mokokchung town remained closed for two hours today as the business community downed their shutters from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm as a mark of paying homage to the departed Naga national leader Isak Chishi Swu, Chairman of NSCN (IM). The downing of shutters was called by the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCI) and was in concurrence with the last funeral and committal service of the departed leader which was held at his native Chishilimi village, July 2.
