MOKOKCHUNG (MExN): The long felt need of having the Mokokchung Town Aor Telongjem(MTAT) came into reality today at New Town hall, Mokokchung with MTAT having its first general meeting. With the formation of this union its will usher the need of the people in the town in particular and the Aos in general.
MTAT will work under Ao Hoho and will assist its parent body, it was decided. Today in the meeting Rev. Luin Jamir, Pastor, MTBA invoked God’s blessing. Exhortations were given by Wb. Bendangmayang, President Ao Hoho, Senior citizen Imnaonen and Imkongangzuk.
In the beginning of this year the Ao Hoho in its meeting passed a resolution to initiate the formation of this Union at Mokokchung and had constituted a nomination committee with Wapangtemjen as Convenor.
