Mokokchung: Youth urged to fight against garbage

Indian Swachhata League 2.0 kick started at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung on Monday where ward authorities and youth volunteers from all the 18 wards of Mokokchung attended.

Delivering a short speech, ADC & MMC, Administrator, Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe urged the citizens of Mokokchung town to come together by putting their efforts to showcase Mokokchung as one of the cleanest place not only in Nagaland but in our country as well.

“Youth being the power house of movement,” the ADC asked the youth of Mokokchung town to be warriors in fighting against garbage. He asked them to use their creative minds for the goodness and productivity in the society.

In the programme, Changsen Pongen presented the theme song for the Swachhata League and the programme ended by taking the Swachhata Pledge by the participants lead by ADC.
