Dimapur, August 12 (MExN): Pursuant to Government approval, the Nagaland State Transport has announced the introduction of Mon City Bus Service to facilitate the commuter with easy and affordable mass transportation with effect from August 15. The service will be flagged off by P. Paiwang Konyak, Minister Transport, Civil Aviation, Railways & Land Resources at local ground, Mon on August 15.
The identified stoppage and pickup points of the city bus service and vice versa from the originating to the terminating point (Don Bosco School junction to Wangkhao College junction and vice versa) are given as follows:
Fare Rate:
• Upto 2 KMs - Rs. 5.00 • Upto 5 KMs - Rs. 10.00 • Upto 10 KMs - Rs. 15.00
The City Bus Service shall operate from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM to remain operative on week days from Monday to Saturday. This was informed in an official circular issued by General Manager, NST Nagaland.
