Mon, May 27 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS, has issued a notification informing all coaching centres in the district that registration has been made mandatory under government guidelines.
The notification stated that, in pursuance of the government notification and the constitution of the District Level Committee for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres in Mon district, all coaching centres operating within the district jurisdiction must apply for registration on or before May 31, 2026.
The application form for registration will be available at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mon.
According to the “Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centers”, any establishment or coaching centre providing tuition, instruction or guidance to more than 20 students for any programme, competitive examination or academic support is required to register mandatorily.
The notification further stated that in cases where a coaching centre operates multiple branches, each branch will be treated as a separate coaching centre and separate applications must be submitted for registration of each branch.
