An online ePass system was launched by the district administration of Mon on June 6.

Mon, June 8 (MExN): Mon Deputy Commissioner, Thavaseelan K, IAS, launched an online ePass system for intra district movement of citizens on June 6.
The online ePass solution was developed by ezeDox, a business process automation company based in Bangalore.
In a programme held through Google Meet, founder of ezeDox, Veerendra Mishra briefed the gathering on the system and process for applying ePass. The company in collaboration with various State Governments and District Administration is providing various government services like ePass System, distribution of food and rations to citizens, movement of people in containment zones and Medical Emergency Requests amongst other services.
Citizens can apply for ePass through the link https://bit.ly/monepass and after filling up the details, a confirmation SMS will be sent to their mobile number. Post approval of the application by the District Administration, Mon, the applicant will receive a SMS where the link for downloading the ePass will be provided.
The Mon DC meanwhile informed that the ePass will be issued only for a specific purpose and for limited period validity. The ePass System was introduced to negate the requirement of people visiting the office to avail movement permits.
