Mon District Hospital gets fully Automatic Biochemistry and Haematology Analyzer

The Fully Automatic Biochemistry Analyzer and Haematology Analyzer at District Hospital Mon inaugurated on June 4.

Mon, June 4 (MExN): Fully Automatic Biochemistry Analyzer and Haematology Analyzer (3 pans) at District Hospital Mon were inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS on June 4. Dr Shokwang briefed the gathering on the function and purpose of the two machines.


Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS informed that the machines were procured through funding received from cooperative social responsibility(CSR)initiatives and donated by Advisor, Social Welfare, Home Guards and Civil Defence, Noke Wangnao and well-wishers. The Biochemistry Analyzer Tests the functioning of Kidney, Liver, Lipid profile and Uric Acid level. 


The Biochemistry Analyzer can be used for Liver and Kidney Function Tests in addition to Lipid Profile and Uric Acid Test. The Haematology Analyzer (Automated 3-Pan Cell Counter) is for analyzing count of Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells and Platelets. 


This was followed a dedication prayer by Rev Chemyuh Konyak Executive Secretary, Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum (KBBB).
