Mon, November 19 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board Mon held its monthly meeting at DC Mon office conference hall on November 18. It was chaired by DC and Vice Chairman DPDB Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS.

The meeting began with the introduction of the new Superintendent of Police Mon, Uniel Kichu, stated a DIPR report. 

The board deliberated on the process of registration of government employees on the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme during which the DC appealed to all the HoDs to ensure the registration of their staff on due time.

The board also discussed and approved the following agendas: Grant in Aid to Outreach Ministry, Mon Town; Opening of a new private school at Mon village; Opening of new GPS at Walo Ward, Mon Town.

The house also heard a request from the Chairman of Chenloisho Village Council concerning the application submitted to the board requesting the PWD(R &B) Department to take up the road from Chenloisho Wangto to Mini Hydro Project Tehok.

In this regard, the DC directed EE Aboi, PWD (R&B) to gather necessary information on the road and present it to the board for deliberation at the next meeting.

A presentation was made by BDO Tobu, Moba W Konyak showing the activities of DRDA in the District.
