Mon, November 18 (MExN): The monthly meeting of Mon District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was convened under the chairmanship of Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB in the DC conference hall, Mon on November 18.
A DIPR report stated that the board deliberated on key agendas, including the construction of Sr Treasury office building as proposed by Chairman DPDB, Mon District Hq road, referring to the Urban Development Department's letter (No UDD/7-GEN/03/URBAN-ROADS/2020, Dated Kohima, 21st Sept 2023), and the fencing of ADC Naginimora office, referencing Commissioner Nagaland’s letter (No. CND-1/CONST/13 (MON), Dated Kohima, 10th Oct 2023). Additionally, the board approved the celebration of Mon district golden jubilee in December 2023.
District Fishery Officer Mon, Angun Wangshu, delivered a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation on departmental activities. The Department of Soil and Water Conservation has been tasked with presenting their activities in the upcoming DPDB meeting.
