Mon, July 12 (MExN): The monthly meeting of the Mon District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held under the chairmanship Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, at DC’s conference hall Mon, on July 12.
Newly appointed chairman of DPDB Mon, MLA Manpon Konyak called upon the members to work together as a team, with good advices and agendas, emphasising on the development and social issues for the welfare of the people.
The house received the application for society registration of Mopong Hongkong Union, Shamnyu Ward, Mon Town. After proper scrutiny of all necessary papers and also based on the society’ presentation of their activities, it decided to recommend to the government for registration of society.
District Planning Officer & Member Secretary, DPDB Mon, V Aron Sema, highlighted the approval of LADP 2024-2025 constituency wise. The Agriculture department presented their departmental activities through a PowerPoint presentation.
The toppers of the HSLC & HSSLC 2024 under Mon District were felicitated during the meeting.
