Mon, February 15 (MExN): Monthly Mon DPDB meeting was held on February 15 at DC’s Conference hall Mon under the Vice Chairman DPDB & Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS. The meeting started with the introduction of new DPDB members.
During the meeting the house recommended the following agenda; change of school name from Paramount High School to Nyeiwang Konyak Memorial High School, Aboi; application form for Grant-in-Aid in respect of Aboi Public School, Aboi, application seeking inclusion of construction of LM & CP staff quarter complex at Mon Town, approval for creation of post of SDPO, Tobu, approval for construction of Food & Civil Supplies Godown at Tobu, approval for setting up of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Tobu, proposal for change of Tobu Village and Tobu Town Village Guards to Mon, instead of Tuensang and Constitution of SPCA for Mon.
Power point presentation was presented by DIET Mon and ITI Mon respectively. The house also took pledge on ‘Save the girl child’ which was led by DC. The meeting was followed by demonstration on EVM and VVPAT machine.
