MON, JULY 12 (MExN): The Executive Engineer of the Electrical Division Mon, Er. K. Tingtenmoie Konyak, announced that the 33 kV transmission line from the 33/11kV Substation in Aboiup to the 33/11kV Substation in Mopong will be test charged at the rated voltage on July 16 at 9:00 AM and will remain charged thereafter. The transmission line runs through Aboi Town, Ngangching Village, Mohung Village, Longching Village, Changlang Village, Angjangyang Town, Jakphang Village, Ukha Lampong Village, Ukha Village, and Mopong Town. The public is advised not to touch or approach the line. The Department of Power will not be responsible for any incidents arising from ignoring this warning, a press release stated.
