Mon, July 15 (MExN): A meeting for formulating Action Plan on Poshan Abhiyaan under Mon block was held on July 12 at SDO (C) Mon office chamber.
A DIPR report stated that SDO (C) Mon, Chumlamo Humtsoe who chaired the meeting, requested the stakeholder departments for cooperation and support for the success of the programme.
CDPO Mon, Tongwang Yanlem highlighted on the Poshan Abhiyaan programme and the activities to be carried out forward.
He informed that the goal is to achieve improvement in nutritional status of children from 0-6 years, adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers; and ensure holistic development and adequate nutrition to the targeted groups.
During the meeting, different convergence action plan activities and events were sorted out for Mon Block, the report added.
