Mon Town divided into three zones to break transmission chain

Mon, August 8 (MExN): In view of the increase in COVID-19 positive cases and in the interest of public health and safety and in an effort to break the chain of possible local/community transmission in Mon Town has divided into three zones. 

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has notified that henceforth, public movement will be permitted in accordance to the days assigned for each Zone w.e.f. August 10, the DC stated in a press release.  

Term and conditions: 
Different color code, public movement permits will be issued for each household under Mon Town. Households lying in a particular zone will be allowed to come out only on the days assigned to them. 

The ward task forces will distribute the public movement permits in their respective wards and ensured that the order is strictly implemented. Only one person from a household will be permitted to go out for purchase of essential commodities, medicines and visit to banks/ATMs only on the production of this permit in original. Shops in all the zones will be open on all days from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

Shopkeepers shall sell the essential commodities to customers only on the production of the permit in original. In case any shop is found violating, the shop would be closed for three days and penalty will be imposed and any one found without the permit on that day not to assign to his/her zone. 

This permit will not be issued to home quarantine households until completions of the quarantine period.
