DIMAPUR, JULY 17 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma has informed that due to incessant rainfall, landslides, mudslides, and rock falls and considering the recent sinking/damage of NH-702 stretch between Mon village junction and Yaling area, the stretch is closed for all vehicular movement until further order. All light motor vehicles plying through NH-702 have been directed to take the alternate route through Mon Village by-pass road. However, considering the fragile nature of the alternate route, the movement of all heavy vehicles (both Commercial and Passenger) shall be restricted to use this particular by-pass road until further orders.
