Warriors Fight League, organised by the International Muaythai Alliance Federation Inc-Mon, was held at the Indoor Stadium, Mon on October 27. It saw 21 fighters – 19 from Mon and 2 from Odisha - taking the ring to fight for a place at the finals.
Vice President of the Konyak Union, Yuhwang Konyak, who attended the event as the chief guest, encouraged the competitors to be persistent in their endeavour to reach greater heights. He regarded martial arts as equally important along with education. He also lauded the organisers for organising the event, which he added would facilitate the promotion of martial arts.
Eight fighters prevailed at the end of the semi-finals. It was informed that the final fights have been slated for the first week of December.
