More festive special trains by NFR to clear rush

Maligaon, November, 2 (MExN): NF Railway has decided to operate few more festive special trains to meet the rising demand of passengers and ensure comfortable travel during the ongoing festive season.

The details are as follows:

•   Train no. 05629 (Agartala-Secunderabad) one way special will depart from Agartala at 06:20 hours on November 3 to reach Secunderabad at 16:15 hours on the third day. 

•   Train no. 04619 (Agartala-Firozpur Cantt.) one way special will depart from Agartala at 14:10 hours on November 3 to reach Firozpur Cantt at 21:40 hours on the third day. 

•   Train no. 04696 (Ludhiana–New Jalpaiguri) Festive Special will depart from Ludhianaat 22:15 hours on November 2 to reach New Jalpaiguriat 05:10 hours on the third day. In return direction, Train no. 04695 (New Jalpaiguri-Ludhiana) Festive Special will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 10:00 hours on November 4 to reach Ludhianaat 16:55 hours on the next day. 

•   Train no. 01081 (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Agartala) Festive Special will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 15:30 hours on November 3 to reach Agartala at 07:40 hours of November 6. In return direction, Train no. 01082 (Agartala-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus) Festive Special will depart from Agartala at 15:10 hours on November 7 to reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 08:20 hours of November 10. 

•   Two DEMU special trains will be operated between Katihar & Manihari for the Chhath Puja devotes going for a holy bath in Ganga. The first special train will depart from Katihar daily on 21:15 hours from November 2 till 5 to reach Manihari at 22:00 hours. In return direction, the train will depart from Manihari at 23:45 hours to reach Katihar at 00:30 hours. The second special train will depart from Katihar daily on 01:30 hours from November 3 till 6 to reach Manihari at 02:15 hours. In return direction, the train will depart from Manihari at 04:00 hours to reach Katihar at 04:45 hours. 

A press release issued by Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated that the details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers have been requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
