Dimapur, December 19 (MExN): The Kuki Inpi Nagaland expressed deep sadness over the passing of Shikaho Zhimo, President of the Western Sumi Hoho.
“His demise has created a void that will be felt not only within the Sumi community but also among all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him,” it stated.
At the same time, it stated that Shikaho Zhimo was a man of humility, warmth, and quiet strength, adding that his life was marked by sincere dedication to his people, a deep sense of responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to unity and mutual respect among communities.
It further extended its condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, the Western Sumi Hoho, and the entire Sumi community.
NPF Minority Wing: The NPF Minority Wing stated that his passing has left an irreplaceable void in the Sumi community in particular and among the people of Nagaland in general.
“A respected leader and a compassionate human being, he will always be remembered for his unwavering dedication, wisdom, and selfless service to society. He was also a popular and highly respected leader among the minority communities, known for extending help and support whenever needed,” it stated.
Furthermore, it prays that the Almighty grants strength, comfort, and solace to the bereaved family during this hour of grief.
