More orgs flay alleged rape of minor in Tsiesema

Dimapur, July 14 (MExN): The Tsiesema Village Council (TVC) and its subordinate bodies have condemned the alleged sexual assault on a minor girl under Tsiesema village jurisdiction on July 9 last. 

The TVC Chairman, Khrielezo Khro and Tsiesema Youth Organisation, President, Medochülie Yhor in a press release stated that the council was horrified at the barbaric and inhuman act on the part of the perpetrator who lured the victim and later committed the heinous crime. 

TVC and its subordinate bodies reiterated that any such crime committed within the village jurisdiction will not be tolerated and it committed to cooperate with the investigating authority in all possible ways to give justice to the victim.
Meanwhile, the council has expressed its solidarity to the victim and her family while appealing to the law enforcing agency to take stringent action against those accused who are involved in committing the said crime and punish them under the relevant section of law.

TWUK: Tikhir Women Union Kohima (TWUK) has appealed to the Law enforcing agencies to take prompt action to nab the culprit who has committed the heinous crime and award befitting punishment as deemed under the law. “We express our profound sympathy to the victim and pray that she quickly recovers from her mental and physical trauma,” TWUK added. 

ENPUK: Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Kohima (ENPUK) stated that such kind of outrageous and barbaric act has no place to shelter in this civilised society. ENPUK has urged the concern authorities to arrest the culprit and ensure justice to the traumatised child and her family at the earliest. It further called upon all the right-thinking individuals and organisations to openly condemn such a heinous and treacherous crime and appeals that no such inhumane act is ever committed upon anyone. 

CUK: Chang Union Kohima (CUK) while condemning the assault has urged the law enforcing agencies of the State to book the accused at the earliest and award the severest punishment as per law so that no such incident occurs in the future.
