Two domestic flights landed at Dimapur Airport on June 8.
The Dimapur Airport Director informed that the flights carried returnees from Guwahati and Kolkata respectively.
The Alliance Air flight from Guwahati arrived on Monday morning (around 11:00 am) with 6 passengers, while the Air India flight in the evening (3:30 pm) had 119 passengers from Kolkata on board, as per the data given by the airport authority.
However, the DIPR reported that 115 persons arrived on the flight from Kolkata.
On being asked about the mismatch in numbers, Dimapur DPRO said that the numbers were according to the headcount done by the administration officials at the airport.
According to the DIPR report, after medical screening at the airport all the passengers were taken to Agri Expo by Nagaland State Transport buses. They will then be assigned to different quarantine centres after going through mandatory procedures.
