Kohima inter-ward football/ volleyball tourney

Kohima, August 31 (MExN):
All the ward youth president have been requested to collect the entry form for Kohima Town Inter Ward Football for Men & Volleyball for Women and Music (solo/band) competition from Starsport, BOC/Sportsworld Shop, CK Arcade, main town and submit the same to such mentioned centres on or before September 5. The Music (Solo/band) competition will take place from September 7- 8 at the State Academy Hall, Kohima while football and volleyball tournament is scheduled for September 9- 14 at the Kohima Local Ground.

Phek district emerges overall champ

Kohima, August 31 (MExN): The state level catch them young tournament was held here at Indira Gandhi Stadium from August 23 to 26 last. Phek district emerged the overall champion title while Kohima district as runners up. In football, Tuensang district lifted the champion title while Peren district stood runners-up.

Kohima- Gold 3, silver 2, bronze 3, Mokokchung- silver 1, Phek- Gold 2, silver 2, bronze 1, Tuensang- Bronze 1. Team champion- Kohima. Runners-up- Phek.
