NPF Kma division sports meet

Kohima, September 14 (MExN):
The NPF Kohima Division will hold its Sports Meet 2011 –cum 2nd picnic, sponsored by NPF 9th Kohima Town A/C on September 16 at Indira Gandhi Stadium. Football and tug of war competition among the area constituencies will mark the day for men & women respectively. Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) speaker Kiyanilie Peseyie will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Stating this in a release, the NPF Kohima division press secretary Kesoneilie Theuwuo invited well wishers and party workers to witness the games.

Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament

Dimapur, September 14 (MExN):
The IXth edition of the “Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament” organized by the Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) will commence from the first week of November 2011 at Imphal. A press note issued by Nanda Kamei, Information & Publicity Secretary, ZFA stated that all the Zeliangrong villages youth clubs and team from Assam, Manipur & Nagaland are invited to participate in the said football tournament. The note also mentioned that registration / admission forms will be issued from the first week of October next from the office of the ZFA, Kakhulong, Paona Bazar, Imphal.

6th Imchaba Master Nagaland open volleyball trophy 2011
 
Mokokchung, September 14 (DIPR):
The inaugural function of the 6th Imchaba Master Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy 2011 was held on September 14 at Multi Sports Complex, Mokokchung with Imyapangla, BDO, Kubulong as the Chief Guest. While delivering her speech, the Chief Guest expressed her appreciation to the organizers, Mokokchung District Volleyball Association for organizing the trophy giving the opportunity to expose the raw, hidden talents in our youth. She also opined that it is heartening to see the team work between organizers and the family members of Late Imchaba Master, in conducting and in improving the tournament in every way possible. She called upon the participants to make the best use of the opportunity given through this Imchaba Master trophy and urged upon the participants to give their best and not to have any regrets. She concluded her speech saying that both the winners and losers should take the win or the loss in a true sporting spirit, which is the essence of sports.
