6th M. Noke trophy from October 11 to 22

Dimapur, October 9 (MExN):
The 6th M. Noke trophy inter-club football tournament of Mon district will be held at Mon town local football ground from October 11 to 22, 2011. Altogether 25 clubs are participating in the tournament.  A press note issued by Bongei Konyak, chairman, Friends Club stated that the tournament is organized by Friends Club Mon in collaboration with Nagaland State AIDS Control Society and sponsored by N. Noke and family. M.C Konyak, Forest, Environmental , Ecology & Wildlife Excise Nagaland will be the chief guest in the inaugural function on October 11, 2011 and E.E Pangteang Advisor DUDA Nagaland will be the chief guest in the closing function on October 22, 2011.

2nd Inter-High School cum 1st Inter-College Chess Championship

Dimapur, October 9 (MExN):
The Wokha District Chess Association will be organizing the 2nd Wokha District Inter- High School cum 1st Inter-College Chess Championship, on the theme “Checkmate HIV/AIDS,” scheduled from October 27 to 29, 2011 at Hotel Hornbill, Wokha Town.  A press note issued by S. Ekonthung Ezung, President, WDCA stated that interested players may collect the entry form on or before October 25th, at Hotel Hornbill, with a payment of Rs. 100/- along with submission of two recent passport size photographs. ABKK Evangelism through Sports

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 9 (MExN):
The sports meet of the Angami Baptist Khriesarüü Krotho (ABKK–Youth Department) under the theme ‘Evangelism through Sports’ which commenced on October 5 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima concluded on Saturday.  Altogether, over 500 youth from churches under Angami Baptist Council of Churches (ABCC) participated in the four-day meet. Informing this in a release, The Youth Director ABCC, Vicavor Krose said events like Volley Ball, Tug of War, Badminton, 100 mtr race and Relay race were conducted during the meet.
