Kohima, October 21 (MExN): The Morung United Football Club (MUFC) was declared the champions of the 3rd Morning Champions Cup (MCC) 2018 after defeating the Amur Falcon Football Club (AFFC) 1-0 in the final.
MUFC, also a finalist last year, played the AFFC on October 18 at Jakhama Local Ground and their second outings proved lucky for the team.
In another match, Mrh.FC beat Ziekezou Seniors to take the third place title.
Apart from capturing the championship title, MUFC’s Talisunep and Dieve were given the ‘Most Valuable Player’ and the ‘Golden Glove’ award respectively.
Mele of AFFC was awarded the ‘Golden Boot.’
