Dimapur, May 8 (MExN): Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs John Barla called on Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on May 7, and held a detailed discussion on the ongoing projects of the schemes which are implemented under his Ministry.
According to a DIPR report, The MoS informed about the new guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram brought out by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, wherein the tribal population in all the districts in Nagaland will be covered under the Ministry. The Minister assured that all possible help will be extended to fulfill the developmental aspirations of the State which will include sectors like health, education, skill development, sports, women empowerment, rural development, sanitation, etc, the report stated.
