DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 13 (MExN): Minister of State for MSME, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma reached Mon on September 11 evening and undertook various inspections at Mon on September 12.
A DIPR report informed that the Union Minister accompanied by DC Mon Ajit Kumar Verma, Additional SP Mon and other officials, visited District Hospital Mon. He also visited Yuching village and inspected the Har GharJal Status under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) at the village. He also visited Amrit Sarovar constructed by RD Department at Leangha village and held a brief meeting with the villagers.
Later, the Union Minister conducted a review meeting with various departments at DC’s conference hall, Mon. DC Mon who chaired the meeting delivered the welcome address. SDO (C) Mon HQ, Rongsenmenla gave a brief profile of Mon District. Departmental presentations were presented by District Welfare Office, PHE Department, District Industries Centre, Wangkhao Government College and DFO. Konyak Union, Mon also handed over a memorandum to the Union Minister of State.
