Kiphire, November 14 (MExN): In a tragic incident today a women aged 55 and her daughter aged 18 of Sangphur village under Kiphire district were swept away by strong current at Zungki river in the early hours today. The incident happened when the deceased and friends were trying to cross the river making a human chain by holding hands together. The unfortunate victims slipped off and got carried away by the current of the water. The dead bodies were later fished out with the help of administration, police and well wishers.
