Motorcycle expedition from Kohima to Kargil

Kohima, June 30 (MExN): The  Indian Army (2nd Battalion, the NAGA Regiment, the Mashkoh Warriors) is undertaking a Motorcycle Expedition from Kohima to Kargil (K2K), commemorating 25 years of the Kargil Vijay Diwas and pay tribute to the gallant Naga soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty, during Op Vijay.

The expedition will cover a distance of over 4000Kms, passing through 8 States and 2 Union Territories.

The expedition is schedule to be flagged-off from Kohima on July 2 and will reach Kargil War Memorial, Dras on the occasion of the 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas (26 July 2023).

The fagging-off ceremony have been scheduled at 9:30 am with Lt Gen RP Kalita, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC-in-C, Eastern Command as the chief guest.
