Moving trains knock down two in Dimapur

Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): In separate freak incidents today, moving trains knocked down two male youth in Dimapur, killing one and seriously injuring the other. Personnel from Government Railway Police Station (GRPS), Dimapur stated that at around 10:30 am, they were informed of a body found below the Rangapahar Helipad Railway tracks, Dimapur. The victim was identified as Yasheto Kiho, age 18 years from Chisolomi village, Zunheboto. It is suspected that the victim was knocked down by a moving train. It was also informed that family members have identified and taken the body back.  Meanwhile, around 3:40 pm below Flyover Bridge, Railway Station Dimapur a male youth was also knocked down by a Chandigarh bound train, severing both his legs. According to eyewitnesses, the youth was trying to cross the track. The injured was identified as P. Khanlong Konyak, from Totok village under Mon district, and a student of Nagaland University, Botany Semester I.
