PANAJI, SEPTEMBER 26 (MExN): Rajya Sabha MP from Nagaland, S Phangnon Konyak, participated in the third edition of the Digital Democracy Dialogue held in Goa from September 24 to 26.
Speaking at a session on the theme “Women-led Development, Women-led Society,” Konyak shared insights on how women can lead a new paradigm of nation-building, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with Nari Shakti empowered as decision-makers and society shapers.
She also underlined the role of technology and digitisation in strengthening democracy by amplifying voices and widening participation, while stressing the need for responsible use of these tools to ensure inclusive and sustainable democratic growth.
The event was organised by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini with the support of the Entertainment Society of Goa and the Government of Goa.
