Kohima, September 5 (MExN): Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, S. Supongmeren Jamir, has expressed sorrow over the tragic loss of lives caused by the landslide at NH-29, near Pherima. In a condolence message issued today, Jamir extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of lives due to the landslide at NH-29, Pherima. My heart goes out to the bereaved families during this difficult time,” Jamir said in his statement. He acknowledged the immense grief and expressed that words cannot fully convey the sorrow felt by the community.
The MP offered his prayers for the strength and resilience of the families affected by the tragedy, stating, “May God grant the strength to bear this irreparable loss.” He emphasized the importance of standing together in solidarity with those who have lost loved ones, and wished for the souls of the departed to rest in peace.
