MP Supongmeren Jamir visits Sainik School Punglwa

Punglwa, September 9 (MExN): Shri S Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament from Nagaland, made a significant visit to Sainik School Punglwa on September 9. 

During his visit, he unveiled the school’s annual magazine, Vibrant Strings 2023-24, and engaged with the cadets and staff, leaving a lasting impression on the institution.

Upon his arrival, Jamir was welcomed by the school’s principal, Colonel Arvind Nautiyal. The MP paid his respects to the nation’s fallen soldiers by laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan memorial, followed by a guard of honor presented by the cadets of the Independent NCC Coy. He was then briefed on the school’s infrastructure through a presentation of the school model.

Addressing the cadets, Jamir emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, and patriotism in nation-building. His words resonated with the students, who are being trained as future leaders and protectors of the country.

The event also featured a cultural program, where cadets showcased their talents. Principal Nautiyal presented Jamir with a memento on behalf of the school.
