
Kohima, May 29 (MExN): Returning to a winning streak with two consecutive win, Amur Falcon FC today registered an emphatic 3-0 victory over Morung United FC at the ongoing Morning Premier League. While the match was scoreless till the first half, a resurgent Falcon started the 2nd half in an attacking mood making the first breakthrough in the 54th minute through Seyie. Akhum doubled the score after 20 minutes, taking his team formidable 2-0 lead into the last 15 minutes of the game. With another goal from Mele in the 78th minute, the fate of Morung United was sealed, suffering their two consecutive losses. The Falcons decisive victory, however, was marred by two of its players – Akhum and Kezevituo -picking up yellow cards during the match. Despite the win, Falcon spot in the leader board will also stay the same at 4th position. The fate of the Morung United, currently in 6th position, will be decided by the outcome of May 30 encounter between MRH Sunrisers and Merhulietsa FC.
