Kohima, May 30 (MExN): Braces from Zakie and Imti helped Merhulietsa FC (MFC) register a thumping 4-1 win over MRH Sunrisers in the ongoing Morning Premier League at the Local Ground, Kohima on Tuesday. The win enabled Merhulietsa to move to 4th on the league table with 21 points while Sunrisers remain 7th with 13 points. Zakie opened the scoring in what was a subdued first half netting home in the 38th minute as MFC went into the break leading 1-0 . The second half though saw four goals. Imti doubled the lead in the 54th minute for MFC but Sunrisers were offered a lifeline when they were awarded a penalty three minutes later. Chuba stepped up and scored past the diving keeper to reduce the deficit in half. A rather sombre affair ensued but with the Sunrisers defence tiring, Imti found Zakie in the 83rd minute and the latter thumped the ball into the back of the net. Imti scored his second in the 90th minute completing the 4-1 rout.
