Mon, September 21 (MExN): The 3rd Mon District Task Force meeting on Immunization of Measles-Rubella (MRVC) was held on September 20 at Deputy Commissioner’s Office Chamber under the chairmanship of DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS. According to a DIPR report, various issues and action plans were discussed on Measles-Rubella Campaign for the successful conduct of vaccination in the district which will start from October 3.
Dr Imtijungshi Aier, DIO Mon, informed that 62,038 children of 9 months to 15 years of age group are estimated beneficiaries of this MR vaccine in the district of 132 villages and towns and 330 Schools are to be covered.

President, Konyak Union, KNSK, KSU, Jama Masjid Committee, World Vision, Catholic Community, Hindu Community, Media representatives, Private Schools Union and Pastor KBCM attended the meeting.
