DIMAPUR, AUGUST 3 (MExN): M/S T&P Enterprise has refuted allegations leveled by the Western Satoi Range Public Union, which accused the former of “looting” relief rice meant for ten villages of Satoi block under Satakha sub-division, Zunheboto district.
A press release from M/S T&P Enterprise said that these charges are “not true and misleading.” It denied all charges leveled by the union and clarified that the enterprise “was never involved in the matter of transportation of goods in concern to Zunheboto district.”
It informed that the enterprise “does not look nor deal with the matter of transportation and so the question of receiving the amount of Rs 10,82,400 for transporting rice to the said district is totally false and should be corrected through proper channels before any allegation in the media.” “The transportation of goods is sublet to 'Cellar Trade Agency'. And they are the agency solely looking after the matter of transportation and in no way the M/S T&P Enterprise is responsible for the transportation,” it claimed.
Further, it stated that “such allegations by the union without ascertaining the actual facts amounts to defaming the enterprise and hence should be avoided for any misunderstanding in the future.”
